Privacy Policy
Glass Transit is operated by Parambhariya LLP ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit glasstransit.com or interact with the pilot enquiry workflow on the site.
1. Information We Collect
We collect four categories of information:
- Pilot enquiry data. When you submit the "Start a Pilot" form, we collect your name, email address, brand or company name, the product category you select, and any free-text description of your packaging challenge. This information is used solely to evaluate fit and contact you about a possible pilot engagement.
- Buy enquiry data. When you submit the "Enquire to Buy" form for our mycelium packaging fill, we collect your name, email address, phone number, brand or company name, chosen bag size (5 kg or 10 kg), quantity, delivery pincode, and any optional notes. This information is used to confirm pricing, lead time, and shipping for your order.
- Analytics data. We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site. GA4 collects anonymised usage data such as pages viewed, session duration, device type, and interaction events (CTA clicks, form submissions, scroll depth). IP addresses are anonymised in transit and we do not receive directly identifiable information through GA4.
- Payment data. If a development engagement or product order proceeds and a payment is initiated, our payment processor Razorpay collects the information necessary to complete the transaction (name, contact details, payment instrument details). We do not store card numbers or full payment credentials on our servers. We receive only a transaction confirmation reference from Razorpay.
If you start a chat with us via the WhatsApp button on this site, the conversation takes place on Meta's WhatsApp platform and is governed by WhatsApp's own privacy practices. We retain the messages you send us solely to respond to your enquiry.
We do not operate a marketing mailing list, user account system, or behavioural advertising network. We do not collect personal information through the site beyond what is described above.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To evaluate whether your packaging use case is a fit for a pilot engagement, and to respond to your enquiry.
- To confirm pricing, lead time, and shipping for buy enquiries on our mycelium packaging fill, and to fulfil orders that proceed.
- To understand visitor behaviour and improve the site (GA4 analytics).
- To process development fee or product payments and confirm your order, when applicable (Razorpay).
- To contact you about a confirmed engagement, using the email or phone number you provide, our booking link (cal.com), or WhatsApp if you initiated that channel.
We do not use your data for marketing, behavioural advertising, profiling, or automated decision-making.
3. Cookies
GA4 sets first-party analytics cookies to distinguish users and sessions. These are analytics-only cookies and do not track you across unrelated websites. You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time without affecting the core functionality of the site.
No advertising or third-party tracking cookies are set by this site.
4. Third-Party Processors
- Google Analytics 4. Analytics platform operated by Google LLC. Data is processed under Google's privacy framework. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Razorpay Software Private Limited. Payment gateway regulated by the Reserve Bank of India. See Razorpay's Privacy Policy.
- Railway (PBC). Cloud hosting provider for the website. See Railway's Privacy Policy.
- Cal.com Inc. Scheduling tool used for the "Talk to Us" booking link. Used only when you choose to book a meeting. See Cal.com's Privacy Policy.
- WhatsApp (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited). Messaging platform used for the floating WhatsApp button. Conversations are processed by WhatsApp under their own terms. See WhatsApp's Privacy Policy.
5. Data Retention
GA4 analytics data is retained for 14 months by default and then automatically deleted. Pilot enquiry and buy enquiry submissions are retained for the duration of the active conversation plus a reasonable follow-up window, and deleted on request. WhatsApp conversation history is retained inside WhatsApp under its own data policies. Payment transaction records are retained by Razorpay in accordance with their policies and applicable Indian financial regulations. We retain order reference information for the period required by Indian accounting law.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. To make a request, contact us via the founder's LinkedIn profile or on WhatsApp at +91 99946 25856. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Data Security
We use HTTPS throughout the site. Payment processing is handled entirely by Razorpay's PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure. We do not store sensitive payment data.
8. Children's Privacy
This site is directed at business professionals and is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
